2007
After weekly practices, four Cygnets went to Paris to play in the IGLA tournament.  Joining with the Toronto Triggerfish team, the Cygnets had a blast!  Also, in January of 2007, the re-formed Cygnets played in our first tournament at Saddleback college.  What an experience!  The Soda Moms were tough, but many of our new Cygnets came away from that tournament excited about polo competition.
The team re-formed with a generous grant of money from Different Strokes Swim Team.  First practice took place in March, and the team averaged over 10 people at each practice by September.  Several Cygnets played in the Gay Games in Chicago this year, from July 15-21, 2006.

The weather couldn't have been better for the San Diego Pride parade and festival. Thanks to everyone for helping work the booth!!!

For the first time in 4 years, the Cygnets proudly represented San Diego at the 2001 IGLA Championship in Toronto, Canada. This year there were ten teams playing in the tournament!!!

Our team was 13 players strong and we're happy to say that EVERYONE got ample playing time. Special thanks go out to Coach Rob and Manager Maria for all of their wonderful support and effort. No, we didn't bring home a medal, but we sure did have a good time!

Brian Thompson, our coach and friend, passed away. Brian kept Cygnets alive and running from 1997 to 1999. Brian will forever be loved and remembered in and outside of the pool. Brian ... we miss you!

The Cygnets created their first website, under the expert tutelage of web guru Annette Bernier.
